A recipe for when you're short on time and long on fish.
Assemble
- Some quantity of salmon, filleted.
- Cedar plank or planks sufficient for your quantity of salmon
- Dijon mustard
- Brown sugar
Create

Soak the cedar plank(s) for at least half an hour. Preheat an oven to 375°F or light off a coal grill.Doing both of these would be redundant, but not harmful.

Place the salmon fillets, skin side down, onto the cedar planks.

Brush the skin-side-down-on-cedar-plank salmon fillets with the mustard.

Lightly sprinkle the mustard-brushed-skin-side-down-on-cedar-plank salmon fillets with brown sugar.

Roast lightly-brown-sugar-sprinkled-mustard-brushed-skin-side-down-on-cedar-plank salmon in oven at 375°F for 20-25 minutes or cook similarly over hot coals.
