Dijon Salmon

A recipe for when you're short on time and long on fish.

Assemble

Create

  1. Soak the cedar plank(s) for at least half an hour. Preheat an oven to 375°F or light off a coal grill.Doing both of these would be redundant, but not harmful.

  2. Place the salmon fillets, skin side down, onto the cedar planks.

  3. Brush the skin-side-down-on-cedar-plank salmon fillets with the mustard.

  4. Lightly sprinkle the mustard-brushed-skin-side-down-on-cedar-plank salmon fillets with brown sugar.

  5. Roast lightly-brown-sugar-sprinkled-mustard-brushed-skin-side-down-on-cedar-plank salmon in oven at 375°F for 20-25 minutes or cook similarly over hot coals.
